My current artistic practice has evolved from a need to work in the abstraction. The abstract forms talk of my private pain in a beautiful but private language communicating with the viewer, the toucher, the environment.
My new to me ‘canvas’ of clay, apart from glazes can incorporate rubber, found objects, sticks and bandages and glitter, which as in this piece is still often a self portrait. Eventually the pain is addressed acknowledged and released in the creative process., this artist’s Mental Health realized in a beautiful creation.
